Volunteering at sppcs

At SPPCS we rely heavily on the time and talents of our volunteers. Whether helping in the classroom, working lunch duty, chaperoning a field trip or simply making copies for our teachers, our volunteers make our day-to-day workflow that much easier and we are so grateful for the time they spend at our school.

All of our volunteers must complete the Diocese of Belleville Child Protection Program. First time volunteers will need to complete the Initial Child Protection Training. To register, please call the parish office at 618.939.6426. Each year thereafter, a refresher course in Child Protection must be taken.

sppcs spring gala - march 9, 2019

The Spring Gala is our largest fundraising event at SPPCS. Taking place every March, this dinner auction helps fund the operating budget, purchase teacher supplies and update our facilities.

This year, our theme is The Luau and takes place on March 9th at Gibault Catholic High School. The doors open and tickets are $50 each. Dinner begins promptly at 6 p.m. and the live auction starts at 7:30 p.m. Check out a gallery of our silent auction items here and our live auction items here.

Can’t attend, but want to donate or sponsor, contact our Gala Committee Chair.

At SPPCS, we rely heavily on fundraising to help keep our tuition affordable to our families. We require each family to meet a $250 fundraising obligation and we give you many opportunities throughout the year to meet that goal.
