I have lived in Waterloo for over 30 years, a member of Saints Peter and Paul parish, and have two sons who both attended and graduated from SPPCS. I am a product of Catholic education and have always known I wanted to be a teacher. I attended Gibault Catholic High School and graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville with a degree in Elementary Education.

I have been teaching third grade at SPPCS since 2000.  I absolutely LOVE being a third-grade teacher and feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful Catholic school and school community.  Helping to form and educate our youth is one of the most profound and impactful professions in the world. Being able to share our faith while providing our students with an excellent academic education makes SPPCS the perfect place to be. As a student, parent, and educator, I can truly attest to the benefits of Catholic education.

While I am not teaching, I love spending time outdoors and watching both my boys play baseball.  I love to travel and have a goal of seeing all of our states. My family and I like to spend time camping, boating, hiking, and enjoying other outdoor activities.
