Hello, my name is Rachel McIver and I am one of the First Grade teachers!

I am married to my wonderful husband Tyler. We have a  daughter Oakley and two black labs Barkley and Archie. We all live in Red Bud! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing board games, hanging outside, and reading books. A little fun fact about me is that I went to SPPCS from grades 3-8! Some of my previous teachers are now my coworkers! I love SPPCS and I love that I get to share my love of God with my students. 

Some really fun things we do in first grade are bi-weekly trips to the Morrison-Talbott Library, pen pals with students from Immaculate Conception School (ICS) in Columbia, and raising butterflies in the Spring! We have a lot of fun in first grade while also learning, growing, and becoming closer to our faith.
